Description

The Anderson Lake Pathway is open to cross-country skiing, hiking and biking. The trail is located in the Upper Peninsula, south of Marquette in the Gwinn State Forest area and stretches for 6 miles. It is composed of rolling terrain that traverses multiple forest types, including hardwood and conifer forests. There are three loops on the trail that range from 2.5 to 4.3 miles in length. The pathway trailhead is located at the Anderson Lake Campground. Water is available within the attached state forest campground via a hand pump.
