
Description
Bass River Recreation Area, located near Grand Haven near the Grand River, is a 1,665-acre site with approximately three miles of frontage on the Grand River.
The multi-use trail located in the park allows for hiking, trail running, nature viewing, mountain biking and horseback riding. The trail winds through deep forested state land and consists of open meadows, open brush land, mature hardwoods, small ponds and 300-acre Max Lake. It is best used from April until October, but it is open for cross-country skiing in the winter.
