Description

This is a group camping area designed for use by equestrian campers riding the Shore-to-Shore Trail, a 420-mile trail system open to hiking and horseback riding, that stretches east-west from Empire to Oscoda with two additional northern and southern spur trails.

This group campground has a maximum capacity of 100 individuals and can accommodate tents and small trailers. Rustic campground includes vault toilets and potable water from well hand pump. There is also a submersible pump that requires a 5000 watt generator to run. Group rates apply at this site: $6 per person with a minimum of 10 people. This campground is gaited. Groups wishing to utilize this campground should contact 989-732-5485 to make reservations. This campground is maintained with the help of the Michigan Trail Riders Association.
